45 Minutes of Hell was released at a very dark period in my life. My girlfriend at the time was in France and my father had just died. After the funeral, I was very much alone. I turned to music to keep me busy and this was the result. This was recorded using a variety of sound sources, including fans, sunflower seeds, and a garbage disposal that I ran until it began smoking. I kept the packaging on this release minimalist. I had put pain on a disc and pain doesn't come with a lot of pretty or interesting packaging. It's just there.
